Corset Sizing Information

Corset sizes do not apply to your regular clothed size. All corsets are

sized by waist rather than clothing size. Corsets should be ordered

2-6 inches below your natural waist measurement, depending on the

desired effect.

For those of you who are petite your waist will not compress as easily,

or as far as a person who is larger. The best rule of thumb is for a waist

that is 32" or less you would order a corset that is 2-4 inches smaller than

your current waist size. If your waist size is 34" or higher, then you should

order your corset 4-6 inches smaller.

Therefore a person whose natural waist size is 32 inches should order a

corser size 28 - 30 inches. For a waist size of 42 inches you would choose

a corset size of 36-38 inches. All corsets should be comfortable to wear.

Dl not lace your corset too tightly during the first few weeks of wear - your

new garment should be 'broken in', whereby the fabric is allowed to take

the strain evenly and the corset adjusts to your body shape - and your body

similarly adjust to the compression.

Measure yourself in inches around the fullest part of your bust, the narrowest

part of your waist and around the top or your hip bones. Make sure not to pull the

measuring tape too tight, and always measure 2 or 3 times for accuracy!

Corsets are created to fit your body so it's snug, but not uncomfortable. These

corsets fit comfortably at the ribs and hips and compresses only your waist,

allowing for easy breathing.
